Necroist 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2004 Ok just tested with my HD497, now that sound is gone, but I can hear a background static noise though. And it seems to be reverbing
Necroist 0 Report post Posted January 10, 2004 Okay, latest update, the amp now works! But seems like there's some kind of distortion/clipping on my senns mx-500. But the problem doesn't surface here on my hd497

tropicalrips 0 Report post Posted January 10, 2004 (edited) they are attached to the metal contacts, used as jumpers contacts on PC, they come in a strip need to cut them to desired number, i bought them at SLT Starlight. i've stop using them, i now mostly use turn-pin IC holders & solder "legs" to my jumpers wires, so the wires can be remove without re-soldering. see the 2 rows of 3 IC holders between the smaller caps, i also use them for the op-amp Edited January 10, 2004 by tropicalrips
Necroist 0 Report post Posted January 11, 2004 thanksss tropicalrips, you're my hero man! I'm actually also curious about this the things on the jumper wires (for example at ur grounding wires below ur op-amp)
tropicalrips 0 Report post Posted January 11, 2004 they are not jumper wires its a metal contact with a stopper build into it, one side is longer then the other, not sure what they call those u can use them as the "male" side of the connector for the audio cable on your CD-rom
