Rameish 0 Report post Posted February 18, 2003 Ablaze and N@Z, Let me clarify, what I said to Ablaze when we met recently was "if some guy wanted to pay me USD$800 or more for it I would be sorely tempted and probably part with it. The only thing holding me back is the fact that I'm a junkie as well and as such appreciate/love/adore the HP-1 (musically). As much as I like the fact that it is built like a tank it's heavy. pipee 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2003 (edited) N@Z, can the JMT CHA47 drive the Senn 600 well? What batteries does it use? 9v / AA / AAA? Is the design based on the CMOY? Sorry for the so many questions. Edited February 21, 2003 by pipee
jtfoo 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2003 N@Z, can the JMT CHA47 drive the Senn 600 well? What batteries does it use? 9v / AA / AAA? Is the design based on the CMOY? Sorry for the so many questions. CHA47 should be base on the Apheared47 design. But since the CHA47 is done by JMT, I believe the component used are quality stuff. N@Z 0 Report post Posted February 22, 2003 (edited) pipee: Hi, I've tried it using the HD600 and it seems to work quite well. It is better with the Senn than the TAH. It uses a single 9v battery. The CMOY is the simplest DIY headphone amp design the CHA47 is the 2nd up. Edited February 26, 2003 by N@Z
