Guest Ruach Report post Posted January 13, 2004 Spotted a lot of ERO polypropylene film and foil capacitors at Kaichin last week (ERO KP1832 0.015uF,2000V, 5%) selling for just 50 cents each. I believe that this series of caps are no longer in production and they are highly rated by stein music (a german DIY components supplier). http://www.steinmusic.de/baueng.htm#E Good and cheap alternative to Multicap RTX for bypassing in crossovers. I have used it for bypassing and this mod increases the "air" and high frequency extensions. Firefox 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2004 They've been there for ages. All pulls... A good buy but I prefer polystyrene for their neutral sound.
Guest Ruach Report post Posted January 13, 2004 Agree. Excellent value for a $1 mod to your amplifers and speakers. Mulitcap's RTX Polystyrene cost about $9 and they are quite transparent sounding.
