This DAC produces a very smooth, warm and musical sonic presentation with a minimalist design at heart. Single stage analog output stage features the astounding 6111WA miniature valve with life span of approximately 100,000 hours! Its simplicity in form and function (using only co-axial connection for best sounding) follows the reputable tradition and hallmark of Audio Note. This is an excellent choice for those looking for sonic upgrade for their CD or DVD players at minimal cost.
