Hi all,I am come back from vacation laugh.gif

 

here is my BB amp diy experience,im glad to sharing this.

reminds me of mr gilmore's latest solid state amp in the diy forums but that is a whole other beast.......

 

digi01, im just wondering on the anticipated heat output?

yes,all the transistors is matched.

 

to QOO,

I think the amp can output at least 2x1W.the transistor that I used is 120V1A0.9W pairs B647/D667.

1W output per channel only?

can it drive AKG K1000?

 

what is the difference if compare to the original 1815/1015 transistors.

 

price.

seems like the price of the transistor is not cheap.

1W per channel.surely it can drive K1000.i'll set up a 4pins socket for to feed K1000.

Don't wanna be a damper but I've tried K1000 driven by Audiovalve RKVII via headphone and speakers output (3W/channel) but utterly not impressed. Of course, the power is sufficient to drive the cans but I suspect more headroom is required to push this cans near their full potential. Later research revealed K1000 may only sound optimal with a healthy feed of 7W and above. YMMV.

WOW.. the board looks cool... where you got it?

and one more suggestion is use turn pin for those transistor holes, easier for troubleshooting later (matching problem).
