Digi, you got the point. Unfortunately I don't like the sound Probably the cable need burn in time.... But to me the sound lacks of dynamic. Probably it is because the RG-179 is high frequency cable, so it is heavily shielded for RFI & EMI protection.

i think Digi is saying something about not using the shield of the cable, or is it the other way round can't see some of the chinese charactors.

the middle part says not using part of the cable, i'm guessing its the shield, says this will giv more dynamics

I think he meant the other way around. Use the shield as signal conductor and the centre not connected. This is way dynamics should improve a whole lot.
