yongchris 0 Report post Posted January 11, 2005 Read abt this hybrid SACD on the review of the Sennheiser Orpheus. Immediately went out to gramaphone to get it. Only one copy left Thomas Tallis : Spem in Alium Lamentations Mass and Motets It's by Linn, and it's awesome. It is recorded in a church, with the 40 choral singers standing in a circle with the mike on a 10ft boom right in the middle. I don't have SACD, so couldn't tell the surround effect. but it sounds brilliant on 2 channel anyway. Damn good recording, and nice music too. definitely adding this one to my demo list.
