matbon0013 0 Report post Posted June 9, 2003 Yeah! It seem the only way of getting them is from the States. But then there is the charger issue, it can only take in 110-115v AC.
N@Z 0 Report post Posted June 9, 2003 If there are no issues with the charge, you could always get a step down transformer. I know where they sell that where we are Mat
matbon0013 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2003 (edited) I have been following this thread 9 volts for the past few days, very encouraging indeed! So anybody can organise a Power Buy! matbon0013 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2003 Ok I'll do a powerbuy providing there is firm commitments from this forum! I will estimate around USD12+shipping for the Plainview 9v each, and the same for the dedicated 115v charger. My target is not less than 12 batteries and/or chargers, to make it worth my while. So far N@z 2 batteries, myself 2 batteries and 2 chargers. Don't want any time wasters, PayPal me at matbon0013@yahooo.co.uk quota for 6 more items and were off!! For the guys in Singapore don't worry it will be shipped to you at no extra cost! Albeit a 2-3days delay. Let me know asap! Regards Mat
N@Z 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2003 Mat, can you find out the details of the charger? I want to make sure what sort of pin it is using & any other relevant details. Not much use if we can't use it or need all sorts of addenda to make it work.

N@Z 0 Report post Posted June 16, 2003 The reason I ask is I wanted to find out the input & output to make sure our step down transformer is compatible. Otherwise, do you know what is the input & output requirements for the Plainviews? GP chargers: Output, 1x 9.8V = 20mA; 2x 9.8V = 10mA. Input, 230V; 50Hz; 8W.
