sayhitojason 0 Report post Posted May 7, 2005 Hi, I was watching this Chinese Hong Kong movie titled "And I Hate You So" ('xiao zhen zhen'). It stars Aaron Kwok as a DJ and Kelly Chen as a newspaper columnist who battle one another but eventually falls in love. At the end of the movie, when Kelly is on her way to the airport to marry her first love, Aaron dedicates her a song over the radio. I would appreciate it if someone can tell me the title and artist of this song. It's a very slow vocal, and my guess is it's from the 60's or 70's. The whole track is just vocal with guitar accompaniment. My guess is that the song title is "I Wish You Love". The lyrics follow. I wish you bluebirds in the spring To give your heart a song to sing And then a kiss, but more than this I wish you love And in July, a lemonade To cool you in some leafy glade I wish you health, and more than wealth I wish you love My breaking heart and I agree That you and I could never be So with my best, my very best I set you free I wish you shelter from the storm A cosy fire, to keep you warm But most of all, when snowflakes fall I wish you love
RonTheMan 0 Report post Posted May 7, 2005 From the lyrics, the song seems to be I Wish You Love. This song is sang by the Temptations, Nat King/Natalie Cole, Dean Martin, Barbra Streisand and even Michael Buble.
