huangyong 0 Report post Posted May 9, 2005 (edited) Seems like no one has tried any discrete power supply before, so i take the lead, experiment this easy and effective opamp + MOSFET power supply. It works, but still need to fine tune it here and there. the schematic is here zerosoft, a design by zerosoft from Korea, the famous DIY master's counterpart. This is my first trial : Going to make a PSU supplying +20V. Single rail. measured at 20.++ V which is not good. still fine tuning it, but this thing can output a whopping 4.5A into a 10ohm resistor... and burn it..real cool... Firefox 0 Report post Posted May 9, 2005 A play on the Walt Jung Super-regulator circuit.. I actually have a dual-rail version of it built on protoboard.. Never got around to testing it because I didn't bother to get the opamps for it.. LOL
digi01 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2005 I am going to build mine buffer.I am really happy with the discrete circuit. Hi huangyong, your try out is very useful to me. the attached is mine discrete buffer(WJ buffer)
