johanjr 0 Report post Posted July 13, 2005 Been listening to Metallica's S&M lately and found that i like the fast and aggressive sounds of the orchestra. By any chance anyone knows who can i listen to either album or composer that plays fast and aggresive, minus the distortion.

orca 0 Report post Posted July 16, 2005 Great!...will go to HMV to have a listen to these One thing you will notice is that you will recognise the above classical pieces. However, personal suggestion, if you are starting out with Classical, try a wider range. Don't limit yourself to only large classical pieces...try some more intimate chamber etc.. Also, many Classical pieces includes slow and fast movements... Some other suggestions for Classical noobs: 1) Vivaldi - 4 Seasons Violin Concerto... 2) Rachmaninov or Rachmaninoff - Piano Concerto 2 and Piano Concerto 3 3) Brahms - Double (Violin and Cello) Concerto 4) Brahms - Violin Concerto The above are the more tuneful style of Classical music...to get you started.. johanjr 0 Report post Posted July 16, 2005 i have a lot of classical tunes at home on LP but my dads LP player broke down couple of years ago.Maybe when i get around fiddling with LP then i might have a listen to them. Right now i guess its just a phase where i prefer classical tunes.....most likely it will phase away and come back later on. So maybe a couple of CDs for easy listening and to get rid of the itch
