N@Z 0 Report post Posted June 19, 2003 Norah Jones - Come away with me. Using MD player & ER4S directly from headphone out. I have been spoiled by the META, this sounds appaling. I know the original CD pressing is not a good one but I mean unamped, this MD although good on it's headphone out with lower impedance (Eggos/7506) cans its hopeless with the ER4S. It needed 23/30 on the volume control & sounded harsh, sibliant & the bass had no impact. In fairness, my PCDP didn't fare as well either using the headphone out.
