acidboy84 0 Report post Posted December 13, 2005 When I installed the drivers, didn't notice if it was completed or not. My computer restarted itself(didn't see the shut down window at all). When windows load up, it said windows recovered from a serious error but the X-Fi drivers and software load normally. Just auto-update the drivers just now. So far so good nothing abnormal detected. Playing the settings as of now. Should I leave it as it is or make a new installation(format and all)? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
evil-zen 0 Report post Posted December 13, 2005 Honestly, if nothing seems wrong, then it should be alright. If you are really paranoid, there is no need to reformat. Under Accessories, System Tools, System Restore, you can restore your system to an earlier date. Followup with installation of drivers. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
