Is it true the chassis is made out of copper too? Anybody tried the RS-1 or HD600 with the corda amps? So many questions! Where the heck is the 'spammer'?! pipee 0 Report post Posted June 21, 2003 Thanks guys for coming! You made it all possible. Actually expect less than 8 to turn up but in the end 14! (at last count) turned up though I didn't expect all of you to disappear after 5pm while I was checking out the Berning Zotl with my speakers. To those bringing the cd players especially Mackie, Rameish, Varian, Northern Oak, Ben and many others that I forgot, so please forgive me, a great many thanks. If not for you guys all of us would be listening to portable sources and my crappy DVD player. A special thanks to Rameish who helped set up the place on Friday. At least now I know how to extend those tables A few select words on the setups present. Still loved the Corda HA2 + AKG501 combo. At least I know my hearing is not shot since the last meet. The Zotl was very nice. Loved the colour! Thanks Barradio for letting me try it with the speakers and the nice conversation afterwards. The biggest surprise was the Gilmore V2. Didn't really expect it to be as good as I heard it. And that's before burn-in being 1 day old and all that. Great find evil-zen! Both the MF A3 and Marantz CD17mkIII were pretty impressive to these old ears. Loved the build on both.
