Server Issues

Around 8:50 12/4/06, the server is having problems loading the webpage.

 

Currently in the process of talking to the host support.

Minor bug which was around since the shift to Invision:

 

Selecting 'Main' from the drop list doesn't direct the browser to the Main forums page.

 

 

Hopefully, with your expertise, this minor issue could be resolved.

 

Anyway, many thanks for helping to host the forums. Was actually contemplating buying a large HDD and asking Adrian if I could archive the entire board and save the posts (there are many useful threads).

 

Maybe someday I'll treat ya to a drink.. Munchy Monkeys? LOL..

err..... not a bug actually. it is a missing feature of Invision forum. Only the sub-forums are directed when selected. "Main" is a category.

 

Anyway, since there is only one category, i set it direct to homepage.

I believe ablaze has changed DNS for sgheadphones.net.

 

Now sgheadphones.net is back online again!

 

Any problems please report here....

noticed that one of the Starhub's DNS servers still have cached record pointing to the old IP. Not sure about Singnet or PacNet.

 

hope it will resolve correctly soon...

need some feedbacks from you guys.

 

please post here your ISP here if you have no problem opening this post.

 

obviously some members still have problem accessing sgH, which is directed to old board.

 

For starhub,

the following 2 DNS are ok.

 

202.156.1.58

202.156.1.48

 

Don't use 202.156.1.68, which has cached the old DNS pointing.

I am using Qala at home with no problems - DNS = 210.193.2.33 and 210.193.2.35

 

At work using Singnet, also no problems.

btw, do you mind mass mail to all the members about this issue? because my experience is i can't even go in the forum, how to read this thread?

i think this would help our members who have the problem.
