I listen to Pet Shop Boys, hits like suburbia, wet end girls, opportunities, always on my mind

etc... Also Kylie Minogue, Depeche Mode is a must mention with Enjoy the silence, never let me down again.

Bananarama, Aha, wham, Heart, New Kids etc..

For 80s Jpop, i listen to Onyanko Club, Yukiko Okada's Cindrella Album, Southern All Stars..

I will not consider Queen 'retro' as I consider them as Classic Rock. Not so disco and dancey music. You should check out their greatest hits vol 1 & 2. All their hits are there and they got lots of nice songs.

For dance music, Pet Shop Boys got lots of hits. You should buy their grestest hits or discography albums too. Belinda Carlisle, Kylie Minogue, Duran Duran, Modern Talking and Depache Mode have a number of nice songs too. Too many to list from these artistes!

Some others not in your list:

Tarzan Boy - Baltimora

Call me - Spagna

Together Forever - Rick Astley

Never gonna give you up - Rick Astley

Cross my heart - Eight Wonder

Lost in Motion - Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam

Touch y touch - Joy

You're a woman - Bad Boys Blue

Cha cha cha - Finzy Kontini

Give it up - KC and the sunshine band

Gimme hope Joanna - Eddy Grant

Body Rock - Maria Vidal

Dracula's Tango - Toto Coelo

Big in Japan - Alphaville

Girlfriend - Pebbles

I hate myself for loving you - Joan Jett & The Blackhearts

Love in the first degree - Bananarama

Secert - OMD

Enola Gay - OMD

IF you leave - OMD

Little Lies - Fleetwood Mac

Manic Monday - Bangles

Puss & Boots - Kon Kan

Sending all my love - Linear

Let's go - Wang Chung

Send me an angel - Real Life

Americanos - Holly Johnson

St Elmo's Fire - John Parr

Feels like heaven Fiction Factory.

Ok, thats all for now. Got to go now. :smoke:

I would say that's the best time of the year that had so much nice songs which still can be remember even now.

And its really hatred to see some of this songs being sang & changed in some ways by new singers.

true, some renditions are great, but some are seriously :bash:

example is cradle of filth's rendition of hallowed be thy name, not saying that COF is a bad band, but that particularly rendition is simply terrible
