Apoplectic Gecko 0 Report post Posted June 12, 2006 Hi long time lurker here, just want to share some funny moments in my old workplace... was working at a fast food kiosk named "Water-Rise" and most of the time i will be the only staff at that shop, doing everything from cashiering to cooking to cleaning. Sometimes there will be customers who will ask really strange questions... Office lady: Hey Water-Rise very cute name! me: Thanks mdm, anything i can get for you? Office lady: Do you use water to fry your chicken wings? At that moment i have the impulse to say,"Yes!!! Using 42 different herbs and spices we manage to make water so hot that it exceeds its boiling point and goes into a state where it acts like cooking oil, amazing isn't it? It's healthier and more delicious!" But common sense took over me and i said... me: No mdm, we use cooking oil to fry our chicken wings.
