fallraen 0 Report post Posted July 11, 2006 I was at SE the other day to audition the Goldring and look for a pair of budget clip-ons. And I saw... these very beautiful wooden clipons... the ATH-EW9. I was wondering if anyone here has heard them or given them a try? They look reallly really nice... but I did some google-ing around and the guys at cnet says the bass is thin where as the head-fi guys say they sound okay burnt in. Has anyone here tried them? Haha, if I had the moneys I'd get it just because they look great hahaa.... wooden and all. lol. but I guess I'll have to stick to my budget for now and perhaps look for the ksc75s.... Wicked 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2006 (edited) I own a pair of these woodies... I bought them 'cause they look great... But they are so harsh sounding that my ears hurt! I like my EM7 better... Edited July 12, 2006 by Wicked
