adhoc 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2003 (edited) oh jason wellaudiolab just mailed me to inform me that they are selling 'WB solder 10m for $10' and 'WBT solder 10m for $30' WBT is 4% silver. cant find any info on 'WB' solder. dont expect it to contain silver at all. EDIT: WBT: 4% silver WB: 2% silver PLEASE CHECK WHETHER EITHER ARE EUTETIC. eutetic means they go straight from solid to liquid and vice versa without any pasty stage in btw. this avoids 'cold' solder joints, which means joints that dont work. adhoc 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2003 oh ablaze just discovered another cable that might be of use: mogami 2549 SINGLE twisted pair, braided shield. the twisted pair goes to left/right and the shield is ground. simpler to solder IMO and according to sources on head-fi, very good.
