jdimitri 0 Report post Posted August 29, 2006 What kind of music do you listen to? If rock- I'd reccommend grados/alessandros, whichever one u can afford (I reccommend the SR225, or alessandro MS1 if you want to keep it low cost) If jazz/female vocals- DT880 (try and find one used, it's worth it) Classical and everything else- HD580/HD600 All IMO of course, but i had all these and kept the SR225, im more a rock person I'm assuming u have an amp? If you don't, I'd reccomend getting the MS1 or HD580 and get a cheap-ish amp (cmoy, or maybe PAV2V2, look them up) Visit Jaben network at the adelphi, 4th floor (never been there, don't even live in singapore), they sell alessandros and beyers, theres a store down the road that sells grados! red 0 Report post Posted August 29, 2006 All depend what kind of music you listen to. Go down to try out SR60/80 or MS1. All under your budget. But these phones are kind of bright for some. Cheers

Ballack 0 Report post Posted August 29, 2006 I recently purchased the Grado SR80 from MBD at $170. One of the best buys for home usage. The Alessandro MS1 at Jaben for $175 is also a good deal. I'd just ask you to go down and try it out. The earcups may not be comfortable for those wearing spectacles.
