Charismatic 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2006 Just came back and saw a fellow forumer there. We were both checking out the nikon booth and the audio technica booth at the same time. Best deal for me was the 25pcs of blank dvds goin for 9bucks. I saw the latest dvd burners (18x!) going for 65 bucks with 25pcs of dvds free. Coincidentally I saw WWE Rock look-alike visiting Nikon and ATH booths.
afbug 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2006 I went to the Senn booth and the iRiver booth also. I wanted to see if they have the 595 in red, they appear clueless when I enquire, also 1 of the staff says there's no red colour. iRiver staff confirms that they are not making HDD-based DAPs anymore. Actually they're correct. There is no red HD595 or other colours. Only avaliable in that standard colour. The Magic Red HD595 and Aqua Blue HD555 are avaliable in Europe only. That means, USA also don't have. The MX700.....is it 700? Is also avaliable in Europe only. Coincidentally I saw WWE Rock look-alike visiting Nikon and ATH booths. Did he lay the smackdown on them? Firefox 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2006 Anyone going later? Could use some help buying memory cards. PM me. OOps... Too late.. Didn't see your post... But the Twinmos offerings are really good... $119 for either 4GB 150X SD card or 4GB 140X CF card... But the SD card was out of stock at their head office though.. aaron-xp 0 Report post Posted September 4, 2006 Speaking of memory cards though, the prices have dropped a lot since last year... 1GB of today costs only as much as 512MB did.
Ballack 0 Report post Posted September 4, 2006 I love TwinMos for their fast, large and cheap memory cards. However, I dropped the most cash into Audio Technica's booth. The display sets were selling over fifty bucks cheaper than new ones. And it was only opened for four days for the Comex.
