I'm new here as i just recently learn to appreciate high-end phones.

 

BTW, i happen to know 1 of my friend which is in a distributor company and they will be able to bring in the Altec Lansing IM716 and IM616 phones.

 

Anyone interested? Coz i need to buy 1 for my GF also. hehe, i already have 1 as i bought my friend sample demo. Hehehe

one advice is listen to er6/i and er4 before you are sure on buying....

If you all find the sound(Analytical) not that great as compare to others IEM,then better dont buy it...

 

 

Like how most people perfer UM1(musical) Sound as compared to CK7(Analytical) sound....

The reasons i see for buying these earphones are:

 

1. Their cheap in terms of the quality to cost ratio

2. They are the only ones in the price range that has triple flanges, besides um1

3. Their rare

4. Thats it.

 

They produce reletively flat sound in hd mode, dunno bout the presision of reproduction though. In bass mode, the bass just simply becomes louder.

But hey, its great value for money, although i would personally go for the ck7.

bass mode not only incress bass level. it also increase the mid so the phone became warmer. there is more details in im716 than um1
