vii_haven 0 Report post Posted October 13, 2006 hi i have a 20gb 3G ipod. was wondering if i could install rockbox on it. and if i do, will the ipod still pop up in itunes as usual for me to sync music onto it? how significant is the sound quality after changing to rockbox? But you can choose to add songs by drag and drop. if you use iTune to put music in still, you will have to change the rockbox file viewing structure by IDtag which you will read more in the rockbox manual about how to do it. on my ipod nano, i really like the sound. but ipod 3g is known to have a headphone out bass roll off so how good it is compare to others, i do not know...
