sky140885 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2006 Hi to All, May I know where is Shure service center in SG? Intend to send my E2C for repair as the right side of the earphone is producing intermittent sounds. Actually, quite sad as I have only used the E2C not even a year, and it is down already. Thanks. Regards, Sky

Jeremy 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2006 Same problem as what I encountered. Luckily its still under warranty when it happened. I check with the service personal is not really cheap to service it. Maybe u can called them to check out first.
RB26DETT 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2006 Do they accept IEMs that are not bought locally? Will the warranty still be valid?
Jeremy 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2006 Do they accept IEMs that are not bought locally? Will the warranty still be valid? I don't think so. U must produce the receipt for warranty service. Can call & confirm. The warranty is only for 3 months from purchase date but can try if within 6 months. I sent mine for service after 4 months & they still warrant it. absolut 0 Report post Posted November 1, 2006 They will accept it as long as you have a receipt.

Neub Detat 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2006 Mine was 9 months old when I sent them in for servicing due to intermittent crackling. No problems. Infact, I got fast tracked because I was going overseas for my studies. So I got a brand spanking new pair in 4 days. Now that's customer service.
absolut 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2006 3 Months? Nonsense. All Shure earphones from the E2 all the way up to the E500 carry a 2 year international warranty.

Jeremy 0 Report post Posted November 4, 2006 (edited) Guess some people like to bullsh*t then. 2 years sounds logical Not really bullsh*t. I brought mine at Hung Brother last year & this is what they told me. I am not sure is there any changes but I seldom see earphone or headphone having warranty except Sennheiser. koljaho 0 Report post Posted November 8, 2006 Everyone please stop spreading nonsense. ALL SHURE EARPHONES COME WITH A TWO YEAR INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY. http://shure.com/PersonalAudio/CustomerSup...ranty/index.htm yes two solid two years. I bought a Shure E2C from Audio Performance in Sim Lim Square and it failed on me ( wire snapped) after a year plus of use. Just send it down to local service center with invoice and you will get the warranty service. Pretty fast and swift service. Takes only 1 week to service it and back with a brand new pair.
