hey xenocide! That's nice but the lines are not as strait as the ones in the pic. Maybe you want to try using grit 1000 sand paper to straighten it out. Dont worry, grit 1000 and above are usually very fine.

I use them to polish the base of my cpu heatsink. =)

i'm using scotchbrite sponge at the moment

got a grade 800 sandpaper. will be "improving" on the lines

 

anyway i've did away with the "apple"

prefer the full brushed metal look

 

will post again once its done...

 

yeap my ultimate go is to be like the pic u posted...
