Gary Moore - recommendation please

The last time I heard him was in the hey-days of the cassette.

Remember "Dolby B" ? and Sony Walkman ?

 

Now that I've some quality gear, can anyone recommend any 'must-listen' tracks / CDs ?

Can try HMV, I bought one sometime back. 2CD, all the best hits of Gary Moore are inside.

 

Was $9.95 I think.

Bought the 2-CD set "Gary Moore: The Best of the Blues" from Gramaphone (Capitol Centre).

Ripped them into Applelossless.

First impression (via the UM2) is that it sounded a bit 'polite' - not enough of 'grittiness'.

Anyway, still enjoy listening. Can play loud with the "Hornet". And no complain from my other half.
