I guess they did some modification to the circuitry, The new set has surprisingly low noise level, very clean sound. 2-in-1 Tube Pre-Amplifier as well as a Headphone Amplifier. It is warm in mid range and detail vocal, well controlled good bass with full of energy, smooth high frequency response. Musically design unit. It has wider frequency band, dynamic and low distortion, very low noise and high fidelity.
