hey pple... are there any choral listeners/singers/fanatics out there? haha. would like to hear some input on choral music =) lets try raise awareness and appreciation for a less popular genre

the king's singers are fantastic.

the singapore philharmonic choir are great too. =) any other inputs greatly welcome

Yup I've quite a collection of choral music, from all sorts of choirs ranging from the Choir of King's College to the National Radio Chorus and the Vienna Boys' Choir. I also have a few CDs from the King's Singers, which is also one of my favorite choral groups. Vienna Boys' Choir has a unique sound too, though it requires a good, lush sound system or else it tends to sound shrill...

 

There are also some modern crossover choirs like Libera, which I regularly hear on 92.4FM. Most people who wouldn't otherwise touch a traditional classical choral CD might have heard of this one, I think. Widely featured in compilation albums too.
