Firefox 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2003 Good for you... But.. How do you open up the cans?
Sipher 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2003 (edited) first you remove the velour pad then you simply insert a small and thin flat headed screwdriver (jewellers screwdriver) in any gap you see along the edge and pry the snap-in cover off like you would pry a cover off a tin of milo. then you'll see the driver, be careful! tear the paper and that's it! now look for a 'notch' along the edge and insert the same screwdriver and do the same prying action. if you pry carefully you wont damage the plastic at all. adhoc have said it before Edited July 28, 2003 by Sipher

adhoc 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2003 (edited) the canare is VERY VERY ex. the neutrik is $3.80, the canare was $8. however i chose the canare for 3 reasons 1. no matter what i did i couldnt get my solder to 'stick' to my neutrik. no amounit of cleaning, heating, re-cleaning, re-heating would do the trick. 2. the canare is smaller, looks much better too IMO 3. the strain relief on the canare is much better looking, tougher, and the internal solid metal cord crimp is much more comforting and re-assuring than the neutrik's plastic crimp. it took quite a bit of force to tighten the canare's crimp. ablaze, i'm doing the complete mod account in pdf format. easier to disseminate that way IMO. also perfect for printing.
