sonq 0 Report post Posted May 7, 2007 Hope someone can advice me on what's the best way (in terms of SQ) to deliver audio tracks to my non-USB DAC (SPDIF input)? Considered a SB3, but as my headphone rig is beside my PC, seems quite silly to go wireless. Understand that USB input compromised quality compared to SPDIF too, hence my question. By the way, I've already got a Fubar2 USB DAC but I also have 2 highend DACs of much higher SQ from my main rig that I'm trying to use on my headphone rig. Thanks. loop_ 0 Report post Posted May 7, 2007 (edited) some ways worth considering: 1) burn everything to cd and then play through your cdp. Might take a few cds though... 2) get a usb to spdif converter. these are quite common: http://diyparadise.com/shop/index.php?main...&products_id=38 http://www.ecp.cc/usb-spdif.html they require some diy work; if you want a fully assembled one: http://www.hagtech.com/hagusb.html not sure how good they are though - I bought the one from diyparadise but it's sitting at home and i'm only back in august...
