imp0ssibled 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2007 Yup Yup. If you feel that 'soundstage' of the MS-1 is already better than the Mylars.. wait til you try the Beyers, Senns and AKGs! (in that order) actually i felt the ms1 had poor soundstage compared to the mylar3, the k518dj had better soundstage than mylar3, ms1, sr60, sr80 which i tried.....the senn hd555 had good soundstage too
nofing 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2007 Yea, Alessandro/Grado don't have much of a soundstage to begin with. It's the trademark sound. But from what I heard, this doesn't apply to the Grado RS1. Then again for that price....You could easily have half a dozen k518s? Lol.

I feel that mylars have very poor soundstage, as with every other IEM. I've tried the MS2, SR60 and both sound so far away in terms of sound stage.
