Blues 0 Report post Posted August 7, 2003 dt250-80 isn't too 'hard' dt770pro is what I would call ... hard hitting bass Anyway I think most people who start like bass alot. I was like that last time too.. the beyer didn't fail to disappoint me
mychew 0 Report post Posted August 7, 2003 anyway...bass should not be too strong for me....hm...well-balanced performance and not having special focus on certain area like strong bass...should suit my taste....anyway...my hd 202 is bright for me......bass is ok...though strong to me...but i still can survive with it...but a cmoy would make my cans sounds brighter...IMHO... as i said...to me....this is what i feel from combination of cmoy, laptop and akg k501... an akg sounds brighter after connecting to cmoy..as what i discover from the akg and cmoy that huangyong let me make audition yesterday.... as i'm not a basshead....so i dun demand heavy bass as a start...i'm not only listening to heavy bass music only.. Blues 0 Report post Posted August 7, 2003 heh... sounds good.. but you said AKG lacks bass.. so I thought you are a basshead. AKG to me is a little lean on bass but certainly doesn't when properly amped.
mychew 0 Report post Posted August 7, 2003 hehe...basshead?eh...no lah..just that heavy bass songs must have enough bass...am i rite? if a drum does not sound as it should be...isn't it weird?
Wortel 0 Report post Posted August 7, 2003 I agree with mychew. Gotta hear the beat of the drum as if it were real. The big ones. I can get it from my sub but not from my cans.
Blues 0 Report post Posted August 7, 2003 heh my dt880 has very realistic drum sound.. oh well.. it's just that you must have the right source and proper amplification
