actually if you don't mind, consider the IEM which goes right into your ear, its better on the go than open headphones IMO, try the um1's , they cost about $160 ~ :)

I'm using the AKG K81 DJ and I'm loving it so far and have been using it for about a year ++. I use it at home though but it seems people are using headphones about the size of the K81 outdoors so yea you can give it a try.

Super dinosaur bump! Why not try the K81 from AKG? Good sound and nice bass. Grado's MS1 is good but abit warm on the ears lol

Edit: lol I din't even know I've posted in thread.... man I'm such an ^&*(

You may want to consider the Audio Technica ATH-ES7

IPB Image

It is comfortable to wear and light weight, foldable in a way you can easily store in your bag.

But this doesn't covers one's whole ear.... :D

K81DJ is a good choice, its closed so good for outdoor use, and reasonably priced

X3, but should look for the newer all black version k518dj, same price and performance, only color difference

Hi all, I need some recommendations on a headphone(closed) for use at home on my computer lol.

Budget is below $250. I am looking for a change from Grados, as I have a pair of SR80s now and I'm looking for something 1 up from that. Something good for rock/metal.

I'm kinda noob and yeah, thanks in advance.
