Recommend a n00b Headphones

I've been scouring the Interwebs for a good sg-based resource site for headphones and I've finally found it.

 

Anyway, I need recommendations for a good pair of headphones. Mainly for use in the office and perhaps for the occasional air flights.

 

I like my music loud and a lil bassy.

 

Budget around <$200.

the es7s are a pair i'm eyeing, but considering that sitex is just about a month away. it is advisable to wait till then to buy?

audio-technica sale price during sitex and comex show wasn't very attractive.... I think you can get a better price at stereo or jaben. But if u want to put on the screen protector on the shiny ES7 to prevent scratches, only available at stereo.

another vote on the es7s, nothing will go wrong with these Audio Technica headphones

They do. I'm not a big fan of that shop, but yes they do. if im not wrong its around 400 for d2000 and 800 for d5000.

just got the denon 1001.... awesome. very comfortable and civilised.

 

@viscy: whats wrong with jaben?
