Irukandji.......does anybody know wat is this?

the Irukandji sound is getting better and better everyday

the soundstage is amazingly large and details !!!

with some recording, soundstage even expanded outside of my ED9 !

just like home speakers, it out of the box!!

 

low is getting very deep, detail and transparent on all genres but lacking

abit of impact only on electronic music. the bass drum is yet satisfying....

since the caps was cooked, it need time to let the caps cool down i think.

I know the impact will come back since the 4.7uf caps do.

 

the vocals is just right & beautiful. it is neither forward nor recess.

it just "there"! you will not see a big mouth in front of you haha...

 

the iMod sound is warmer like analog. iMod soundstage is not as big as

CD combo but Hi is smoother imo.

Overall, I'm enjoying every little note on both combo so far

now to my impression

at 1st impression compare to my valgrinds soniccaps they r much detail and doesnt to be compressed like

soniccaps

they r much opened up,extended soundstage beyond my expectation, and bass hmm i can keep rocking with it lol

when pair with my ipod to my amp they r sound so sweet!!!!

i need to mark the progress however the caps havent properly formed as my soniccaps need to rest for a few days to show it's full potential

Btw, just check with Victor, specs of Irukandji is 8.2µF Platinum bypass.

Honestly, I've no idea technically. Will have to check with Victor. But it work great for me. Enjoying it now.

2nd day impression the soundstage somehow extended and the bass got deeper it seems

been playing some instrumental music and noticed the out layer of strings of cello and trumpets violin as well

i didnt notice it was there all along and that i couldnt hear it with my previous rig!!!

wat a surprise and the mid more and more smooth and high is less harsh

this baby jelly is starting to mature like it's bigger, poisonous, and deadly Irukandji........

my bass has returned bout 50% and omg it is more deeper

been using my akg701 to test
