weikiat 0 Report post Posted May 25, 2009 the usb will drive the dac section only. battery will drive the amp section only. you can use it as either a stand-alone dac with a line out, dac+amp combo, or stand-alone amp. Coming from the govibe petite+dac, D3 beats the govibe hands down in terms of SQ and features. D3 also comes with extra screws and even an extra different color casing for you to swap around:) If u lost a screw in govibe you got to go beg for one.
