  1. I'm looking for a 5.1 surround sound solution. The speakers are amp'ed up via the subwoofer so I need a processor to take the surround outputs while I feed in the sound via my laptop using 3.5mm or rca connector. It can be one of these types of solutions; 1) Used Digital sound processors (preferred) 2) Used ext usb 5.1 soundcard/dac my budget is very low, under $50. PM me if you have anything to offer. thanks!
  2. Thank you for your reply ahdui. I guess PS15 is just out of my league.

  6. I seriously dont know which board to post this topic. In any case, I'm working on a series of gigs, it's a on-going thing for my personal music project. So the problem is, since most of the times the gigs will be held at a small indoor place which could probaly fit in about 120-150 people, I thought, isnt it better for me to just buy one P.A system that I can handle each time when I'm organizing a gig instead of spending about 300-400SGD to just rent some equipments for each gig. I'm not thinking of straight away of buying the whole system now but maybe in months to come, I'm just doing my research now. I'm talking about a very simple setup, since I'm dealing with Hip Hop/Drum n Bass/Etc sort of music I dont need any instruments or lots of Mics. I would probaly need 2 loudspeakers, speakerstands, about 4 wired microphones and a 8 channel powered mixer for me to power up the speakers. But the problem is, I'm not so knowledgable on the more technical side of these equipments. My question is: 1) How should my setup go like? 2) What brand should I look more into? 3) Is there any P.A System package I could look into? 4) Where can I go to get a better idea about these equipments p/s I saw Stereo Electronics has some karoake system packages going on @ their shop, are those systems applicable too for my application? Thanks in advance.
  7. I gotta say the software interface look terribly similiar with my Consus PMC-300 PMP player. Maybe its from the same OEM.
  8. wow! RJD2 fan? You can get it from Borders, at the Hiphop/RnB Section.
  9. wow! thanks alot for ur inputs guys! I'll certainly make a trip to Stereo Electronics and try it out first.
  10. Thanks for the replies! icic, guess I just need to try them on then I can say if I wanna get it or not. hehe. Btw, what about 'burning in' ? What does that mean?
  11. ^^ Yeah I got this feeling that Germany will meet Brazil on the finals again.
  12. Thank you! My bad, i didnt realize. Mods, can you help me and shift this thread the Portable Audio? I'm sorry
  13. Hi guys! I wanted to know this, when has actually Grado released SR60? I do own Audio-Technica ATH-T2 but its more for home-use when I'm producing some music, I need a headphone for me to use it outdoor and I just feel I want to try Grado SR60 out, since I think it looks good and its reviews has been great. Anyone who owns this, does it go well with portable mp3 players? Please drop your thoughts about this. Just wondering, why do one use Headphone Amplifiers? to further amplify the sound? Is that the only reason? *Sorry, noob alert.*
