The power is DC with qty 2 x 9V batteries. This is original power supply, 18v with 2 9v batteries, then a TLE 2426 to get +9v/-0v and 0v/-9V, a 1000 uF capa between each rail and virtual gnd as per digi01 and Morsel shematics.

Jasonhanjk, Here is the schematics from digi01. May I put ELNA SILMIC 1000uF for C1+/C1-? Which voltage (written on the cap)? I rebember have read that twice to power supply voltage is to be choosen (Here we have as power supply +9 0 -9). Can I put Blackgate BG-N 1uF in lieu of WIMA 1uF, any audio benefit? 3channel op schem

I can get flwg capicators: Black Gate type BG polarized Black Gate type BG-C polarized Black Gate type BG-N (-NX) not polarized ELNA RFS SILMIC II polarized Electrolitic Philips BC type 135 and type 136 I think philips and ELNA are good for power reservoir, and Black Gate to used for coupling stages (non polarized), and for decoupling. It is right?

May be somedoby could add comments on which types are preferable for power supply reservoir and which types for DC blocking. I read in parts catalog some ELNA where excellent for liaison, but can't remenber their type.

In fact I hesitate over 3 projects based on 2x9v batteries: the RA1, the A47 and the 3 channel opamp from digi01. Knowing that my headphones (not Grado) are 32 ohms, which project would you recommand ( I listening classic & jazz) for me?

Thank u for the explanations! In the A47 schematic, you have on input line after the cap, the signal going to V+ of the opamp and a 100k resistor going to the ground. As the input impedance of the opamp is very high, the input resistor is 100K. If you can omit input caps, what are their function? do they prevent DC offset? For Solen cap, I noticed there is "made in France" printed on them. I live in France and have found a cap manufacturer which products have same specs than Solen caps. I am quite sure they are manufacturing for Solen. I know there are Solen caps in the RA1, but are there Solen caps in the original A47?

About the A47 which of type cap shall be used, for the cap in the input line just after the panasonic 10K pot (1uf or .47uf, depending on A47 or CHA47), are they MKT,MKP ? What are the best?

I can get from my parts supplier only a TLE2425. Can I use it in place of a TLE 2426 for a virtual ground? What is the difference between these two rail splitters?
