XLO (Test and Burn-in CD) convert to MP3 to do burning in....

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I will like to know is it a must to use the XLO tracks to do burining in?

And if YES, can I convert the tracks to MP3 to do the burining in for my headphones?

Newbie here.... Thanks for the advices in advance....

Not necessary. You can use a tone generator to generate pink noise or just play your fave tracks.

It'll be better to use lossless as some of the frequency response is loss when you use a lossy format.

You could rockbox your ipod so that it can support other lossless formats i.e. FLAC or you could rip your CDs using itunes to ALAC (Apple's version of lossless), than transfer it as per normal to your ipod.

Thanks, but looks like my Ipod Nano 4gig won't cut it! Need to shop for more gigs!
