  1. Please feel free to bid for these here : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/162365596036?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 If you have any questions or would like to speak to me about these speakers please feel free to contact me through ebay and I will be happy to answer any questions you may have. Will post internationally. These rare original Audiomaster LS3/5A BBC loudspeakers are a matched pair and are in very good condition apart from a few scuffs and marks as you would expect from a 40 odd year old speaker (see pictures). The drivers in particular are in excellent condition (see pictures) ; they still sound superb and, as a professional sound engineer, I have tested them with REW acoustic software and a measurement microphone and can confirm they have no issues at all . They have been in one office of a research facility for many years and most of their life have only been used for analysing spoken word recordings. This pair is very rare version of the Audiomaster and have a black back and a slightly different brown grilles. Along with Rogers Audiomaster produced the first version of the LS3/5A - they stopped production around 1981 - so these are older than many. If it's a dealbreaker I will open these up - but I'd rather not as a quick test revealed the screws are pretty firmly embedded and have almost certainly never been unscrewed and I would be worried about damaging them if I used too much force. I am very certain they haven't ever been opened up or tampered with in any way - the research facility simply would have chucked them out and got another pair back in the day rather than repair them. I will post internationally and will pack the speakers professionally. I would prefer it if the buyer arranged postage but am of course happy to arrange it if this is not possible. The cost of postage customs, insurance etc must be met by the buyer and paid apart from the bidding price . Otherwise they can be posted through Ebay's Global postage scheme. UPS can give you an idea of postage and insurance costs to you country here : https://wwwapps.ups.com/calTimeCost?loc=en_GB&WT.svl=SubNavhttps://wwwapps.ups.com/calTimeCost?loc=en_GB&WT.svl=SubNav By way of example typically Taiwan / China is around £190 and the USA is around £120 (including insurance up to £2000) . Customs charges will vary in accordance with country of purchase. Happy Bidding and good luck ! http://www.ebay.co.uk/gds/Rogers-LS3-5A-Goodmans-Maxim-Minimus-1-Ditton-10-etc-/10000000010832278/g.html http://www.g4dcv.co.uk/ls35a/manufacturers.html http://www.bbc.co.uk/rd/publications/rdreport_1976_29 http://www.ls35a.com/
