bpribadi 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2010 You may want to consider Dr. DAC2 DX from Audiotrak if you can increase your budget. Or you can go to Jaben to test some USB DACs there. This link might be useful: http://www.headfonia.com/category/source/desktop-source/ I've tried Nuforce uDAC, it's pretty cool for such a small DAC I'm using Dr. DAC2 DX for USB DAC, and Focusrite Saffire LE for Firewire DAC. Tacoboy 0 Report post Posted June 20, 2012 I'm assuming this USB DAC is so you can get audio from gaming on the PC & PS3. The Astro Mix-amp. and Turtle beach DSS both come with optical input and can process Dolby Virtual headphone. You can also daisy chain an external headphone amplifier to then, if needed.
