razer 0 Report post Posted November 9, 2007 YAY!!! WOOHOO! Just bought them. I auditioned a pair of Dynaudio speakers at the showroom just now which the shop keeper said sounded closest to the MC15's and the sound was simply breathtaking! Can't wait for collection next week. Will do an update on how they sound!

Can PM me the price
elmo 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2007 Amazing, I did not know dyn has a multi-media speaker, very compact and cute looking. But it looks terribly similar as the pair of BM5a that I have, even same specs, except the studio version accepts balanced XLR. Mine was bought for $2k, any one knows this version? If it is cheaper,I don'tmind to use as monitor as the specs are allsimilar, except for the tilt base stand.
david watt 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2007 BM5A Compact MC15 From the specs alone, the MC15 seems identical to the BM5A compact. The MC15 is priced the same as BM5A but the latter has a wider frequency response: BM5A
razer 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2007 Got mine already. The sound's pretty good. currently trying out different speaker placement positions to find the best possible sound. As I'am using them on my desktop, I'am using them nearfield. Will see which is better. The sound is brilliant. Feels like fresh and clean sparkling mountain water. Crystal clear dynamics is amazing and transparency beyond words can say...

razer 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2007 In fact, they sound exactly like bookshelf speakers but built active so as to accomodate other uses.
david watt 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2007 Enjoy the speakers. They are meant for near-field. YOu were lucky to get it before the show. Heard that all the stock have been snapped up
