DAC under $400?

would like some advice on what are the available DAC under $400? Any recommendation? Thanks!

You might consider the KingRex USB DAC. Should be about $240. Call X-audio.

Am using the HRT music streamer DAC, only have usb in. may wan to include in your consideration list.

why not look at 2nd hand dacs?
current rig
(portable rig) cowon s9 + tf10, monoprice 8320
(portable amps) 18v cmoy, O2 amp

(home rig) thinkpad w520 > ssmh > headphones
custom mod headphones in beats body, pioneer se305, goldring dr150 (all 3 with interchangeable wires)
ath-es7 modded 18awg spc, skull candy aviators, creative aurvana live(denon ahd1001 modded), DT48A
with loads of diy wires

(clip on)
Ksc 75, em7, dunu cx 60-II

d2 modded to d2+
fiio e11, a47 amp, creative usb x-fi 5.1
sf5p, tf10p + hand made mil-spec spc,meelec m9, ba200, CIEM (tf10+sf5p)(missing)

yes i agree wif 400 u definitely be better off wif 2nd hand units

Centrance Dacport LX around 400, usb
Musiland MD10 lower than 400, coaxial, optical, usb. Best deal.
Fiio stuff lower than 200 hmm various but limiting

Can try Schiit Magni and Modi combi. Get it for less than SGD400 from SLT.

Check out Maverick Audio D1 n D2 DACs

Value for money - allows OP AMP and tube upgrades

Plenty of reviews on the Internet. Costs < $350
