Selling my precious rig! iBasso D3 Python with both silver and black casing, as well as box and spare thumb screws and stock 3.5mm to 3.5mm interconnect. no batteries included. there is a black velcro stripe at the bottom of the black casing for easy attachment to your iPod The D3 has similar sounds as the newer D4, and has longer battery life because it uses 5 AAA instead of a single 9V battery, reducing the need to charge the player. It can be used as a standalone amp, standalone DAC, and amp+dac together! Ultimate link (Z1000 equivalent as far as I know) This is an early prototype Ultimate link cable that was never put on sale. The ultimate link marking as faded off already after one year of use, and there are scratches on the LOD area. If i am not mistaken this IC has the same cable as Ultimate Link Z1000 worth $299? 3 weeks of no earphone is nth compared to eternal bliss. Or compare that with the 4mnths that my fren nid to wait to get his customs from that other local retailer.. I used es2 cable with my superfi5pro when it was still a universal as well. All i can say is that it is so much better than the ue one. It may seem slim and filmsy, but the sound is fantastic and becos of its very light weight and flexible nature, no microphonics and u wont feel that yr superfi has any cables at all. My pervious es2 cable use 2years le i think. No sign of untwirling.

It's a new es2 cable.. Perhaps that can be the cause? The process took me about 3 weeks if I am not wrong. The other day in the library I put on my customs and realize that even volume one on my iPod touch is abut too loud for me. Lol.

after 3 more weeks of further listening to my reshelled superfi5pro, I am shock to notice that the "muffled" characteristic in the sound has completely disappear. Since those drivers are existing drivers from my ancient superfi5pro, does not make sense to say they have burnt in right? Maybe my ears have burnt in to my customs, or simply that I have gotten used to the sound. Whatever the case, I am happy to say that I am very pleased with the sound signature right now... wheeee.... and its damn good tool to use when studying in noisy areas like smu concourse etc, flooded with irritating jc kids pretending to prepare for their promos or alevels but actually chatting away like a macdonalds party.
