Yesterday a customer who uses a full diva setup was telling me its a bit over rated, he tested both IC and speaker cables. If you're interested to try, check echoloft site for regular MO or maybe some leftover?

Among them, I'll still choose Belden if my setup is near balance. Klotz 107 if my setup seriously lack bass quantity ( not quality or tight control bass), Mogami is ok too but considering Belden is easier to get hold of, I rather go with Belden.

Klotz, Belden and Mogami are decent cables, can be over rated at times as price to performance ratio is good. I'll say they are good for their price tag. thumbup.gif

Yes, based on reliable insider news in States they are in fact the same cable. Tried both in a AB comparison and couldn't tell much difference, they work very well with bullet plugs. But I seriously urge you to try first, I wasn't very impressed personally, did a full system re cabling with Mogami except the power cords, maybe a little too lean for my taste.

Was recommend the Mogami and join the Mogami MO at echoloft 2 years ago, yeah nice mids and treble but a little lean on the bass. Still I'll rather go for mogami than klotz g107, and although belden isn't my choice but I suppose its the more balance entry cable to the other two.

Just my 2cents.

K i just got a pair of Mogami 2803 with Neutrik Profi... When i first hear it, i find that it helps to further clean up the slight hiss from my amp, i was quite disappointed because at the same time everything sound like much softer. Like i have miss something i hear from the previous IC... I swapped to my previous QED IC and swapped back to mogami and i can conclude that the sound/ music did sound much more open. Soundstage was much better and i am able to hear much more details too when i swapped phones to ER4S.. Everything sound so much realistic... lust.gif After swapping the IC a few times at the same volume i find that the MOgami didn't really sound softer but it tend to sound more realistic. It gives the amp the most neutral signal... Dun have the brightness exhibit by the QED.. the different is like looking at a photo in the bottom of a glass cup fill with water.. one with ripples another peacefully still or shld i said empty glass?.. laugh.gif

Dear Brother

His termination....hmmmmm. You better check the fine wire around and inside the small teflon tube were not cut. You want to get a full potential of this IC, you must make sure not to cut any strands. I own many pairs of these ICs and it affects sound drastically for sensitive set up with different termination.

It definately worths $60/m but a lot of people overated it like magic cable. It perpforms well with its price range.

Robert and his gangs have terminated thousand and thousand of cables. Should not doubt on their termination skill. However, a person need to understand the unique construction of this 2803 and have to terminate it carefully beside the skillful soldering.

I tell you, most people even "Lau Chio" will cut away the small puny centre tube or accidentally trim off the fine strands when do the soldering. I think why audience au24 cost so much is because they may have done a good job on this portion. It is especially painful when 2803 match with bullet connector.

I own many pair of mogami with different connector from nuetric, cardas to bullet. I were puzzed why they did not sound as good as audience au24 even 100 of hours of running in until I open a pair of audience au24 and found out the answer.

It is a good IC if it is terminated carefully and properly. Don't expect magic from this cable but it definately worth more than the money you paid for as compared with many other overpriced IC in the market.
