Stereo_Electronics 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2007 This is the latest product from iBasso after the successful D1 DAC/AMP combo, the D2 is not out to replace the D1 but to complete with the Headamp Pico. As compared to the iBasso D1, the D2 is smaller in size (80 x 50 x 20mm), but only have 2 inputs (3.5mm analog and USB). The D2 DAC uses the PCM2706+WM8740 and I2S interface (D1's DAC - PCM2906+CS5416+CS4398) although like the D1 it has a DAC built-in but no line-out, therefore unable to be use as a standalone DAC.
