  1. Thanks for the headup bro. Btw, how much extra is the regulated PSU? :P

Quite hard to find one in singapore leh.. Norm recomend Mascott from HK... that is the same one i used on my previous headsave classic.. SLT.. i go search most are switching type and $50++ :bash: .. GO jaben have a listen to GO-vibe.. heard Wilson has a power supply suitable to go vibe :))

  2. But isnt it a portable amp....?

    HMMM....haha.

They are using the same opams inside and suspose to sound quite familiar... the Govibe can be a home amp after you get the optional 24V regulated PSU.. It susposed to sound better then 9V... personally haven tried.. but i recomend giving the GO-Vibe a listen first.. :))

Robert and his gangs have terminated thousand and thousand of cables. Should not doubt on their termination skill. However, a person need to understand the unique construction of this 2803 and have to terminate it carefully beside the skillful soldering.

I tell you, most people even "Lau Chio" will cut away the small puny centre tube or accidentally trim off the fine strands when do the soldering. I think why audience au24 cost so much is because they may have done a good job on this portion. It is especially painful when 2803 match with bullet connector.

I own many pair of mogami with different connector from nuetric, cardas to bullet. I were puzzed why they did not sound as good as audience au24 even 100 of hours of running in until I open a pair of audience au24 and found out the answer.

It is a good IC if it is terminated carefully and properly. Don't expect magic from this cable but it definately worth more than the money you paid for as compared with many other overpriced IC in the market.

    thanks for the advice

  4. Dear Brother

His termination....hmmmmm. You better check the fine wire around and inside the small teflon tube were not cut. You want to get a full potential of this IC, you must make sure not to cut any strands. I own many pairs of these ICs and it affects sound drastically for sensitive set up with different termination.

It definately worths $60/m but a lot of people overated it like magic cable. It perpforms well with its price range.

ANything wrong with Robert's termination?? You got some bad jobs from him?

  5. Does charger matter ?

I am using GP charger & batteries. Will I get the performance of the other brands of rechargable batteries by using my GP charger to charge.

Is it o.k to mix different brands of rechargable batteries together in one use ?

Is it true that the higher the AH of the rechargable battery, the longer is the usage ?

    Thanks in advance.

There are many type of chargers around.. those cheaper one are time based.. like when you bought they are bundled with example 2100mAH batt and they are timed to stop charged when they are full.. however if you insert higher cap batt they will not be fully charged.. There are some with 2 X 2 charging channels so when you insert 2 X 2100maf batteries in , one has 0% charge another has 40% charge, when the 40% charge one is fully charge the 0% is not fully charge but the charger has already stop the charging.. thuse you get one fully charge and one not fully charged one...

Most important is to find a charger that have individual charging circuit to prevent above problem. Find one that is not timed based but has micro processor to determine the cap and fully charge it... find one that has tickle charge function so that after fully charge the charger still introduce minimium charge at the batt to keep it in tip top charge.. ALso find one with discharge function.. cause if you discharge the batt fully before charge can prolong its life.. however this function not really important as most rechargable is pretty cheap and the life of batt w/o discharge and w discharge is not really that great apart.

Also if you need a fast or rapid charger like below 1 hr for AA or 2hr for 9V best is get one that has temperature control or has inbuilt fans.. high temperature will shorten the batt life..

  6. Wow guys..Just back from LHS again after a long chat with Robert..... got a power cord and ask to help re-terminates+ sleeves my Mogami 2803.. cause i suspect the termination done by the previous owner sucks... When Robert open out to see.. the connections has loosen and everything seen like to break off.. ...

Just re listen to the "New" Mogami wow i almost  and then at MJ's Thriller.... i :shocking: ... and fall of my chair...

Thanks you Robert... for reviving the IC..
