I'm new here, so forgive me for asking stupid questions... anyway, i just bought a ATH-CM3 yesterday, and so far, i'm quite happy with the sound, except in the bass... it sounds good enough if i plugged it into my mini hifi, with bass turned up, but on my cd player, its horrible... ok, so my questions are:
1. Will a portable amp boost up the bass for me? + maybe give a better sound quality.
2. Where can i buy portable amps in Singapore? It can't be too powerful cuz it only needs to power my earbud of 16 ohms.. and which one do you recommend? (any below $50... or $100 if that's too low... sorry, i don't know how much amps cost...)
Another question... i found the buds of the CM3 to be a little big for my ears, and when i get a tight fit, my ear will start to hurt after a while, even with sponges on... I saw a 'converter' at Hung Brothers that apparently converts (i think) earbuds to ETYs lookalike canalphones... are they any good??? Or could anyone recommend me a better solution? (except selling away/refunding)
