Sorry I've not been updating and posting. For the past few weeks, my notebook koed but now its fix but now my keyboard's o and p keys are spoilt and so, I face difficulty in typing this sentence.
Have to copy and paste.Next 3 weeks, I in Aust for ICT, so will not be posting. shhhssst! o and p keys are really impt!

Beginners luck only... Now trying to find the rules to see how to transfer players...
very tough to catch up... only want to join for the fun of it. If it isn't West Ham.

Its not too difficult la. Every games week, you're permitted to make one transfer free. If you want to transfer say 3 players, then one is free and the other 2 will cost 4pts each, = total 8pts deducted. You will still get a free transfer the next gameweek. Thank note, its gameweek, not actual week. So lets say this week got EPL games on Wed and Sat/Sun, its considered as 2 gamesweek and not 1.If you go on like this, you sure can catch up. I played last year and to maintain position in the table, need to score about 40-50++ pts on the average. To climb the table, its at least 60++ pts average.
My captain scored a massive 0 pts last gameweek. C. Ronaldo got rested.

You have to try the true 9.6V 230mah Maha rechargeables. See if it makes a difference.

May I know what are thumb screws? Those used on Xin's Supermacro, where you can screw and unscrew just by using your fingers?

I think its also got to do with its supra aural design. Try changing pads and loosen the headband a bit. The headband has a piece of metal inside, so can bend to fit your head.

Here is a little low down on the E500. Technically, it is better than UM2. Details are amazing compared to UM2. E500's sound sig is little flatter and thus, dun have as much impact and emotional as UM2. You've to listen to the E500 for at least a few days to realise what it can do or capable. It will not impress first hand or reveal its capability. I'm not a fanboy, the E500 is still not perfect. I find it a little boring at times compared to UM2 and I HATE the cables. Pampered by Westone's cable already.
Vs the ER4S, its bass and comfort is miles ahead. It lose out on treble energy, details is not better but probably on par.
I think the E500 is a capable earphone. Suits many types of genre of music, more so than UM2 or ER4.
As for Triple.fi Vs E500, it boils down to perference I guess but I find it a bit hard to swallow esp those iLounge reviews, many own the UE 10Pro. I figuered they'll like the Triple.fi. So I think their review can be taken little more seriously.

What is the Part No. of that Knob at Farnell?

Part no for the knob I got is: 16H-2D-A & 16H-2D-B (1 of them is black and the other silver)
FYI, there're many knobs/designs avaliable at Farnell, so you can take a look around but taken note of the knob size and internal diameter. If other knobs have the same specs as the one I got, you probably can use it.
Edit:
I remembered; Koba at People's Park Center also have lots of knobs. You can try them but have to really search for what you want. Once you're there, you'll know what I mean. The thing is, I dun think they have the knob I have. So if you want the same knob as me, its better to buy from Farnell.

Who named them? even though it sounds funky and colourful like samba or spicy like sambal... Haha Black Mamba, Brown Burmese Python and Orange Eyelash Viper?

Hmmm....I'm suprised that those people at iLounge don't fancy the new triple.fi 10 as much as the E500 as some of them are 10 Pro owners. But after listening to the E500, I don't want to listen to any other earphones I got. Maybe its because of triple.fi's flat sound signature as described by them, don't excite. And I tot E500 can be flat at times, not as exciting or emotional as UM2.

I just got the batts.. using it with my PA2v2...
since they say its "buy and use" without charge
i'll see how long can thier factory charge last...
but currently...i won't b using the amp with my nano as i've yet to get my Nano line out dock...
Yeah from the pics, the new Nano seem slightly bigger but apple says its thinner only.
PA2v2 is not a good guage as any kind of rechargeable batt will last long in it.
You can try charging it and leave it stored in a case or so for 1-2 months and see if it can hold charge as promised but its gonna be a long wait to see results. -
The simplest mod is to cut a 20cent or 50cent hole in the pads... anyone here done that?
I done it on both my PX100, Sporta Pro and KSC75. For KSC75, its too bright after the mod, so I snap on the SportaPro headband instead of the clips. Sounds better on the headband to me. Stronger bass but its treble don't get overwhelm, the mod probably helps.

Didn't get the cable in the end. I can't keep in in the case using the custom cable cos it'll be too stiff to coil it up. BTW you received your E500 already?
Ooooo customs! Not a likely route for me as of now.
Ya I got my E500 already and I think the whole cable is a pain to use. The slider and cable very grippy and stiff. Probably got pampered by Westone's cables.
I tot of buying a male/female Neutrik jacks and go LHS and ask them to terminate a cable for me but I dunno where to get straight Neutrik jacks, LHS only got Neutrik male L plugs. Must find out more.....

Hmm....no pity la. Member's interests come and go esp mine. But I did not say quiting audio cos I know, 1 fine day, I'll be back! I'm just happy that my review help some made their decision and give a brieft intro.
Actually it happened like this:
Back in Sept/oct last year, I was busy and have to prepare for my overseas ICT in Nov. And I actually forgot to bring any music with me. Not even my FM radio.
So for that duration, I did not listen to music and I did not miss listening to my equiptment even after I got back. I only start using my E500 again this Jan and the interest or passion is not quite the same anymore. I just dunno why. So I think its time to move on but I still read the forums sometimes.
