  1. Best is to get someone from polytechnics or NTU/NUS to order for u... Free delivery and got discount..
  2. Hehe.. I don't usually do headphone amps... but the last piece of Hi-Fi I built was a PCM1704-based DAC... The PIMETA was originally intended for a DIY power amp, but I couldn't find anywhere to put it, so it ended up inside the CDP. Some say I build purely for the sake of picking up a soldering iron... if it produces good sound then that's an additional bonus
  3. Hi guys... Added the Tangentsoft PIMETA headphone amp into my 15+year old Sony CDP... The amp before putting into the CDP: The CDP has plenty of space on the right hand side for the amp and PSU... Close up of amp and power supply. The supply is +/-10V, regulated down from the +/-15V because the AD8610's cannot take so high voltage... Originally tried using the +/-5V supply, but it was really not enough (amp was clipping very easily). First impressions: Much improved sound quality in general, not so "thin" as the original amp. It's a LOUD amp, originally I can turn the volume (remote controlled by the way) all the way up. Now, anything above 10 o'clock is deafening! Now to get a better set of headphones...
